sorry, nothing further from the truth. I have build enough high revving TPI engines which rev easily to 7000rpm and beyond. It depends on the cubes, if cubes go up you may have to switch to a Superram, but a hiFlo base and runners let you go way beyond 6500 with no loss.Original von Pelle
A TPI system only works with a stock camshaft.
327's are easy high rpm blocks and the TPI stops working above 4200 rpm
so from that point of view these two are not the perfect combination
TPI actually won't work with stock cam very well, then power WILL fall off sharply above 5000 rpm.
Adjusting the Memcal is needed anyway, no matter if MAF or MAP. If it really shall be a hot combination then switch to a Haltech E6GMX which is a plug/play free programmable ECM. PLugs into stock harness with no changes for about 700 Euro.
However, a stock 350 TPI setup will work beautifully on a 327 without any changes
