Well.
The crowd want to see dragsters. Dragster is a original dragracing car.
-We started to run Funnycars and dragsters, because it´s sooo booring to be lying too much under the car and we all are big boys who do not fit to play with clutch and Lenco inside the small car.

It´s much better to work with cars where is room to play.

But when running with own limited wallet, it´s very expensive to travel to UK etc. That makes full season to be quite expensive. Travelcosts are half, or more of all.
-That´s ofcourse our own problem. Why not to be clever salesman to sell stickers and amusement services.

So real dragsters are available only for TAD/TMD, or TF.
-When a guys have ran into 5´s, there´s no idea to go down on speed.

TAD will stay and there are lot´s of cars available for drivers, who have passion. There are crews available to follow drivers who have that passion. Dragracing is just a little bit out of the fashion, kids who have cash will push all to Rally, or formulathings to get billion bucks seats from factoryteams.
-Their "godfathers" pay few years training for league of 10 guys and get their investment back 10 times after couple get million € per month back.
-Thats business. There are no car manufacturers backing drags in Europe. Only private dealers or repairshops.

Circus is fine, people love it, but thats no business, only entertaining.
-And the entertainment gets cash only for promoters, who can do it in proper places and stabile weathers year after year. And then get enough of the tickets. And only wealthy promoter can create great party. And the party is as important as the race itself.
-Thanks for Rico for the good show. Keep on the good work. It will be the #1 race if track is fine, pits are fine and whole Europe can join to the traveling costs.
-Hockenheim needs 50000 more seats.

I am very sorry, that our all pro, but way too small race and hotrodding association here does not have that much spectators and therefore funds to finance ferries to top teams.
-We must all together to find a way to transport, crews, buses and trucks around Europe cheap.
-Most teams can pay the operation, but 3-4000€ trips to see rain in foggy islet is straight out of family kitchen table.
-Wives look that misery for 4-5 years. Then a man must get rich, or quit.

All is about the money. Few things I hate:
-The other Santa Pod race must be on continent EU.
-Way too expensive traveling.
-Too much USA SFI and yearmodel etc rules. (We should have all repaired and inspected here in Europe to save money and get the inspected/updated parts back before next season).

I suggest event promoters to really spend some time to clinch a deals for ferries. More racers, more spectators, more expensive tickets.
-Or just support every PM, TAD, TAFC, TF, FC and Jet teams with 2000€, per main race. That should maybe be partially taken out of prizemoney. (Winners will hate me after this =)
-Some sponsors, some re-organising for moneyshares.

These little things would take 80% stress out of teams, save 50% of the money for better purposes and makes the appearance possible.

Yep. Everybody should have all pro team and sponsors, but thats not possible. We run familysport in sportsman classes and sportsman spirit.
-95% does so. Hobby is hobby, no matter what´s spent. Some have more, some less. Thats life.

There are maybe 20 cars able to update for current classes. Someone could make 1 year living with getting equipment into van and driving around europe with tig welder and some Cr-Mo tubes.
-It´s good idea to note, that a man can race with very big engine with conventional blower. There are lots of under 6 second combos lying in garages cheap.
-And every under 6 sec car makes it serious to win.

Good ideas are always welcome. But in here, in Sweden, Norway, Uk and Germany we had TAD´s and TAFC´s before official FIA series and that situation will stay so, no matter how things go.
-We do race, because of head which needs speed. FIA serie is just a nice spice.
